Thank you to the nearly 1800 people who joined us at Community Living Mississauga’s 35th Annual Tribute Dinner on Thursday, March 28th to honour Mr. Joseph S. Mancinelli.
The event raised more than $916,000 – a record amount for the Tribute Dinner.
The evening, filled with music and memories, recognized the impact Mr. Mancinelli’s philanthropic efforts have made in creating communities which are inclusive and welcoming to all.
The evening’s entertainment included 2012 Canada’s Got Talent finalist, Emilio Fina, and international performing artists, VIVA Trio. Also featured were remarks from Mr. Mancinelli’s family, friends and Paul Brum, a young man supported by Community Living Mississauga.
The proceeds raised will benefit programs which support children, teens and youth who have an intellectual disability to participate in community-based programs as well as supporting people to participate in community-based recreational, leisure and volunteer opportunities!
Proceeds from Tribute Dinners over the past 35 years, which total more than $3.8 million, have supported thousands of people to be an active part of their community.
This huge success would not have been possible without the hard work of the organizing committee and a team of more than 30 staff and volunteers who worked at the event.
