Community Living Mississauga would like to acknowledge the support and patience from everyone as we continue to navigate through the many restrictions that have been imposed through this global pandemic. As the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus continues to spread rapidly, we must safeguard the people who live in 24 hour residential support locations and their support staff. We are asking you to help us avoid any potential outbreak of this highly infectious virus.

Effective Monday, January 10, 2022, visits to the inside of the home of a person receiving support will no longer be arranged. At this time, Community Living Mississauga will only facilitate visits away from a person’s home. It should also be noted that should someone be gone for an overnight visit, they will be required to take a Rapid Antigen Test the day of their return with results emailed to the Manager who oversees the home of the person receiving support. This test will be provided by Community Living Mississauga.

These measures will remain in effect until further notice.

We are so grateful to families for your ongoing support and appreciate your understanding as we implement measures that are difficult but the right thing to do at this time.
