On behalf of a united group of advocates from the Developmental Services (DS) sector comprised of people who have an intellectual disability (self-advocates), families, and DS agencies, we recently sent e-mails to our six MPPs from Mississauga.
These e-mails highlighted the urgent need for 5% Sector Stabilization Funding for Developmental Services and requested in-person meetings to further discuss the critical situation our sector is facing.
