IMPORTANT NOTICE

Community Living Mississauga continues to work hard in our preventive measures and adapt to the significant changes in daily routines. We know that times are tough but we must remain strong together.

We are extremely grateful for our dedicated workforce. The over 500 employees of Community Living Mississauga are demonstrating commitment, courage and resilience, as they provide essential supports and services to people who have an intellectual disability during this challenging time.

As the province of Ontario is slowly beginning to loosen restrictions and re-open businesses, we are all beginning to feel optimism and eagerness for a return to normality. It’s important to remember that the developmental services sector is still under emergency order and the people we support are some of the most vulnerable people in our community. We know you understand that we must remain vigilant and patient!

Community Living Mississauga must continue the practice of allowing only essential visitors to the 24 hour support locations until further notice. This will only include support staff and healthcare professionals.

We want to assure you that we are closely monitoring this situation and will update you as soon as this status changes.

We completely understand that this is very stressful as a family member however, the highest priority for the organization is protecting the people we support and our employees. We are asking you to help us avoid any potential outbreak of this highly infectious virus.

We are so grateful to families for your ongoing support and appreciate your understanding as we implement measures that are difficult but the right thing to do at this time.

Please continue to visit www.clmiss.ca for the latest updates and information.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding!
