As we continue the process of preparing for people who receive 24 hour supports to get vaccinated, we wanted to share a brief update where we are to date. Although we have no specific details from Peel Public Health at this time, we do know that obtaining the vaccine requires a person to sign a vaccine screening and consent form.
Families will receive correspondence this week that includes instructions on the review and signing of the consent form that we are kindly asking be returned by March 1, 2021. We appreciate this is a short turn-around time but it is critical that the people we support are ready when the vaccine date (s) are established.
