42 hours/week, up to 12 weeks

Rate of pay – *$12/hour (*pending funding approval)

Community Living Mississauga is a non-profit organization, which provides support to individuals who have an intellectual disability so that their quality of life in the community is meaningfully improved.


The Children’s Summer Support Program offers one-to-one support to children who have an intellectual disability while they participate in a day camp program, facilitating their inclusion into the setting. Children attend programs throughout Mississauga operated by the City of Mississauga’s Recreation & Parks Division, and other day camps in Mississauga.


One-to-One Leaders provide direct support on an individual basis to children in a day camp setting.  One-to-One leaders also have some record-keeping responsibilities, must attend weekly staff meetings and promote the inclusion of children into day camp programs. One-to-One Leaders must be comfortable providing personal care support, participating in all activities with the children including swimming, and be physically fit to perform the essential duties of the job including performing lifts and transfers as necessary.


  •   Valid Emergency First Aid/CPR Certificate
  •   Experience supporting children who have an intellectual disability
