Community Living Mississauga is a non-profit organization, which provides support to individuals who have an intellectual disability so that their quality of life in the community is meaningfully improved.



The March Break Teen Activity Program provides teens who have an intellectual disability, ages 13 to 21, with a March Break program option.  Staff  provide support to small groups of teens to plan and participate in a variety of community activities such as sports, arts, movies and local day trips based on the interests of the teens.  Each group meets at a local community centre.  From these locations the day is spent participating in planned activities in the community.

March Break Staff provide direct support to teens in community activities.  In addition, staff must also have record-keeping and program-planning responsibilities and are responsible for promoting the inclusion of the teens into community activities.  Staff must be comfortable providing personal care support, and participating in all activities with the teens, including swimming.


March 10-14, 2014 (40 Hours) & up to 24 hours of training.

Rate of pay:   $12.00/hour
