Community Living Mississauga assists people who have an intellectual disability to identify and achieve their goals and interests. Our individualized supports are based on the belief that all people can participate and contribute to their community. Community Living Mississauga has been supporting individuals with an intellectual disability in our community for more than 50 years.
Community Living Mississauga’s Associate and Family Home Program is currently recruiting families or individuals who are interested in becoming a Respite Provider. On weekends or for longer periods of time, Respite Providers support a child or adult while the parents or providers enjoy time away. We are looking for caring families or individuals who are committed and interested in sharing their home and providing support to a child or adult who has an intellectual disability. Interested families or individuals must live in Mississauga and be able to provide a safe and secure environment while fostering growth and independence.
We offer support and training and remuneration – financial support.
